The star of the City Reapers is set to be Paul Osaruyi, who enters the season as the 12th ranked player in the class of 2027 according to 247Sports. Osaruyi is set to be the premiere big man in OTE this season, standing 6-10 and known for his punishing style of play near the basket but also his deft touch. Osaruyi is Canadian and represented Canada on the national stage, most recently playing for the World Team at the 2026 Nike Hoop Summit in April 🇨🇦

In addition to Osaruyi, the City Reapers have two other players who are top 50 in their class on the team. Ahmed Nur is one of two players on the team who are local to Arizona and he comes into the year as the 21st ranked player in the class of 2027. Nur is a 6-9 power forward who just took home MVP honors at the NBPA Top 100 Camp which is an extremely prestigious award that current NBA players Cooper Flagg and Paolo Banchero have also won. Isaiah Clarke is ranked just inside the top 50 in the class of 2028 and is a 6-7 wing who is one of three Canadians on the team 😤

The third Canadian on the team is standout shooting guard Lyris Robinson, ranked just outside the top 50 in the class of 2027, who averaged 14 PPG for Team Canada at the FIBA U18 AmeriCup this summer. The last top 100 player on the team is Jalen White, who is a 6-6 forward ranked 62nd in the class of 2027 and is one of the bounciest players in the league this season 🐇

The expected starting point guard for the City Reapers is youngster Jordan McDaniel who is a 5-10, class of 2029 guard who is one of the most promising players in the country. McDaniel is considered one of the best young guards in the country as evidenced by him taking home the 15U Nike EYBL MVP award this summer. The last American on the roster is Marquice Pless who is another class of 2029 representative who is the top ranked player in the state of Arizona in his class 🤩

The Reapers are welcoming three more standout international players to their roster for this season. Cesaire Yenan is another African born player, although he comes from Cameroon, who has already played on some of the biggest stages, notably playing for Cameroon at the FIBA U19 World Cup last summer.
