2026-27 Diamond Doves Roster Preview

The 2026-27 OTE season is just around the corner and for the next month we will be slowly unveiling the teams and rosters for the upcoming season. The eighth and final team to be unveiled is the Diamond Doves who have put together a roster that could finally reverse the curse of the losingest franchise in OTE history. Read below to learn all about the 2026-27 Diamond Doves roster 🕊️

After becoming the first ever team to miss the OTE Playoffs last year, the Diamond Doves are coming into this year with a clean slate, as not a single player is returning to the team from last year’s roster. The Diamond Doves have eight new players on the squad and that includes the heaviest hitters the Doves have ever had including one guy who may already be the franchise GOAT without suiting up for a single game 🤯

Munir Greig is the highest ranked player the Diamond Doves have had on their roster since Javon Bardwell and is poised to be the biggest breakout star at OTE this season. Greig is a 6-5 wing who comes into the season as the 65th ranked player in the class of 2027 but that doesn’t paint the full picture with Greig. Greig is coming off a year in which he was named the Gatorade Player of the Year in Nevada after leading his team to the state championship. Greig posted averages of 15.9 PPG, 7.8 RPG and 3.2 APG and was the undisputed leader of the winningest squad in the state of Nevada 🏅

Joining Greig on the Doves this year is a face that should be familiar to OTE fans. Kyle Amadi found his home on the Doves after becoming the third ever player to win the OTE Dream Tryout. Amadi is a 6-4 guard in the class of 2028 and he demonstrated at the Dream Tryout that he is one of the best bucket getters in the nation. Amadi led all scorers with 31 points in the scrimmage at the Dream Tryout and he did so on an absurdly efficient shooting day where he made 11 of his 18 shots 😵‍💫

The Doves welcome in two other highly touted prospects as well making this the deepest a Diamond Doves team has ever been. DeVaughn Dorrough, a 6-6 forward, is the 73rd ranked player in the class of 2028 and has been invited to tryout for Team USA on multiple occasions. Malachi Booker is a 6-7 forward in the class of 2027 who played last season for Montverde 😤

The Diamond Doves bring in Dashaun Harris as well, who won the state championship in Nevada last year as a starting guard with current teammates Greig and Dorrough. The last member of that championship team to join this Doves team is Logan Svendsen who played a role off the bench as a 6-0 guard for the championship winning team 🥵

The Doves final two players on the roster are two class of 2027 standouts who bring a wealth of experience to the team with them. Jaylan Virgil is a 6-2 guard who got reps this summer playing on Jalen Green Elite on the adidas 3SSB circuit. Lastly the Doves are bringing in Ean Britt, a 6-6 combo guard, who played for the Oakland Soldiers on the Nike EYBL circuit this summer where he made noise as a shot creator from beyond the arc 💪

Make sure to stay tuned for more for the upcoming schedule announcement that will be coming later this month 📱
