And the Winner of the OTE Dream Tryout is…
And the winner of the OTE Dream Tryout is… Trae Nunn!! After three grueling days of workouts, drills and scrimmages it was Trae Nunn whose dream ultimately came true as he landed a spot on the City Reapers 💀
Trae Nunn is a 6-4, 205 lb forward in the class of 2026 who comes to Atlanta from Waxahachie, Texas. Nunn is a lights out shooter and that was on full display throughout the tryout. In shooting drills on Monday, Nunn went a remarkable 17-20 from deep showcasing just how elite he is as a marksman from long range 🎯
In his career prior to joining OTE, Nunn played for Waxhackie High School where he was named to the 11-6A All-District First Team as a junior after surpassing the 1,000 point threshold in his career. Playing for Empire on the Puma Pro16 circuit this summer, Nunn was named to the Bryan All-Tournament team after averaging 20.5 PPG, 6.2 RPG and 3.3 APG 🔥
Nunn comes from a family of athletes, as his older sister, Deja Kelly, was a three-time First Team All-ACC member while playing college basketball for the UNC Tar Heels. Nunn bolsters an already burgeoning City Reapers squad as he joins returners Kole Grandison and Moustapha Diop 🐏
Make sure to stay tuned in all summer long for OTE roster announcements as we approach the 2025-26 season ‼️
