City Reapers Get Their Get Back

The City Reapers got their get back to even up the OTE Finals at one game apiece with a 89-79 win over the YNG Dreamerz in Game 2 on Saturday night. Meleek Thomas was getting to the rim at will and it showed in his scoring, as he finished off the night with a cool 27 points while also playing incredible help defense all evening long 💪

Amari Evans drew the Eli Ellis matchup but that didn’t slow him down on offense as he tallied a hefty 20 points while also pulling down seven boards. As the tallest player in the series, Cole Kirouac has been a difference maker, logging a game-high 13 rebounds while also putting in eight points of his own 😤

For the Dreamerz, it was the Ellis show, as Eli and Isaac Ellis combined to score 72 of the Dreamerz 79 total points for the game. Eli Ellis broke his own playoff single game scoring record with an absurd 47 points which stands as the fourth most in a game in OTE history. Isaac Ellis was no slouch either, as he registered a big-time 25 points which included five triples in the historic game for the two brothers 🤯

Both teams will enjoy some much needed rest before returning for Game 3 of the OTE Finals on Thursday, March 13 at 7 PM on OTE’s YouTube channel 📱
