Game Results:

The City Reapers put together a complete team effort in the first game of the evening to take down the Blue Checks, 87-67 and hold on to their spot atop the latest edition of the Strictly Rankings. The Reapers did what they do best and won by committee, as no player scored more than 15 points, but seven players scored nine or more points. For the third consecutive game, Jahki Howard led the City Reapers in scoring, as he dropped 15 points, eight of which came off of explosive dunks 💥

Tyler “Hype” Jackson had one of his best games in a Reapers jersey, putting up 11 points, five rebounds and five assists, as he was in command of the team’s offense for most of his time on the court. Jaeden Mustaf continued to excel in his role as the team orchestrator, dishing out five dimes while also scoring nine points to go along with six rebounds 🍽️

For the Blue Checks, Seton Hall commit Jahseem Felton was the team’s leading scorer, notching a cool 19 points while also dealing seven assists. Rakease Passmore did his part to keep the Blue Checks competitive until the end, as he registered 16 points to go along with two steals. Despite scoring just four points, Elhadji Diallo had one of the highlights of the season with a massive poster slam in the third quarter 🤯

In the second game of the night, Jelly Fam built up a 21 point lead in the first half that, despite a late-game rally, proved too much for the Cold Hearts. This marks the first time in three attempts that Jelly Fam has managed to knock off the Cold Hearts this season. Elijah Moore was the star of the show for Jelly Fam, carrying the team with 19 points, including three makes from deep 🍇

Solomon Ominu had a monster double-double putting up a career-high 21 rebounds, the most by any player in a single game this season, to go along with 16 points. Ominu’s impact was felt on the defensive end as well, as he notched three steals and two blocks. Not to get lost in the excellence of his teammates was Ian Jackson, who still contributed in a big way, putting up 16 points while also leading the team in assists with five 🛡️

For the Cold Hearts, it was the play of John Bol that stood out, as his energy is what fueled the late comeback effort that ultimately fell short. He recorded his fourth consecutive double-double, with a stat line of 14 points and a season-high 18 rebounds. Reynan Dos Santos had his biggest scoring line of the season as he registered 21 points, the highest total on the team ⚡
