💪 City Reapers, RWE Pick up Big Wins

The City Reapers and RWE picked up major wins on Sunday evening, moving each of them closer to the top of the pack at OTE. Read about all of the Sunday OTE action down below.

City Reapers, RWE Pick up Big Wins

After going down by double-digits early, the City Reapers rallied in the first quarter and never looked back, downing Fear of God Athletics 90-75 in a dominant showing. The Reapers are now in sole possession of second place in the league with a record of 8-4. Jayden Wilkins went on a heater knocking down five triples on his way to a team-high 22 points for the Reapers 👌

Kole Grandison scored a career-high 20 points in the win to go along with 11 rebounds which marks his first double-double of the season. Meleek Thomas may not have produced his largest scoring output (14 points) but he was dishing the ball all day long, finishing with a career-best ten assists 🪙

For Fear of God Athletics, Cayden Daughtry took on the bulk of the scoring load, scoring 22 points, his fifth time crossing the 20-point threshold this season. Shon Abaev was held in check, posting just 12 points after his big night that included a game-winner last night 💪

RWE did it again, making a massive comeback in the fourth quarter against the Cold Hearts to win a 93-88 thriller on Sunday night. After trailing by as much as ten in the fourth, RWE mounted a major assault, with an avalanche of rim attacks and a blitzing defensive scheme to seal the comeback victory. Jasper Johnson played the hero hitting the go-ahead bucket in the closing minute and finishing with a game-high 24 points to go along with eight boards and three steals 🤯

Parker Robinson had a stellar night, finishing with 20 points which included what very well may be the dunk of the year at OTE this season. Taylen Kinney had his fingerprints all over the win, as he typically does, rounding out the night with 23 points, seven assists and four boards 👹

For the Cold Hearts, Wei Zhao did everything in his power to keep the team in the game, logging 16 points and four assists. Omari Chaudhry had a career-best night finishing with a personal best 15 points which included three triples 🎶

The OTE season will continue in OTE Arena next Friday with the Diamond Doves taking on RWE on YouTube at 7 PM before a rematch of today’s game between the City Reapers and Fear of God Athletics at 9 PM on Prime Video 🎞️
