Cold Hearts, FOGA Force Game 3
The Cold Hearts forced a Game 3 on Saturday night with an excellent second half showing that saw them take home the 93-85 victory over the Blue Checks. Marcus Gillespie continues to elevate his game to new heights, this time leading the team in scoring with 19 points which included five made triples 👌
Kai Rogers went into takeover mode late, gobbling up every available rebound and owning the paint, which saw him end the night with a double-double of 14 points and 13 boards. Jeremiah Faumuina excelled in his role as the Cold Hearts lead guard, as he scored 16 points while dishing out a team-high six assists 🍴
For the Blue Checks, Josiah Parker had the best game of his career, playing every second of the game, resulting in a career-high 35 points while he also made a big impact on defense with two steals and a block. Kaden Magwood had another big scoring night of his own, rounding out the evening with 19 points while also swiping a playoff best five steals 🗜️
Fear of God Athletics took care of business handily in Game 2, holding RWE to a measly 75 points in an absolute rout on Saturday night. FOGA wasn’t playing any games, as they came in with a mission and executed it perfectly, holding RWE superstar Jasper Johnson to just 12 points, his second lowest total of the season. Shon Abaev played like a man possessed, filling up the stat sheet with 16 points, eight assists and ten boards while also putting together his best defensive performance of the season that saw him register four steals and four blocks 😱
Cayden Daughtry continues to be Fear of God Athletics most consistent scoring presence in the playoffs, as he logged 16 points on four triples made. Kenneth Francis was a big factor in FOGA’s defensive game plan, as he registered four steals and also registered 14 points 💪
For RWE, Jackson McVey recorded his third double-double of the season, posting a line of 14 points and 11 boards. Parker Robinson stepped into a larger role which saw him finish the evening with 16 points and five boards 🎬
The Cold Hearts and Blue Checks will play the decisive game of the series tomorrow at 3:30 PM while Fear of God Athletics and RWE will play their Game 3 at 5:30 PM tomorrow with both games live on YouTube 📱
