Eli Ellis and the YNG Dreamerz were at it again on Friday night, downing the Diamond Doves 88-70 thanks to another record setting performance from Ellis. For the second time in two weeks, Ellis scored 50 points, nearly two-thirds of the team's total for the night, matching his career-high and the league single game record 🤯

The Dreamerz have now won four in a row and are unquestionably the hottest team in the league. Their performance sets up the Game of the Year on Tuesday night in Lincolnton, NC that will be played between the number one and number two squads in the league, the City Reapers and YNG Dreamerz 🍿

Ellis continues to set new heights for himself, as he has now scored 40+ points in five games this season, with his 50 ball tonight matching the high mark of what has already been a season for the ages. Abu Yarmah stayed hot from three, knocking down another five against the Doves after putting in six triples on Thursday night 🧨

Ketraleus “Bo” Aldridge led the team in scoring for the second consecutive night with 19 points, while also pulling down a team-leading seven boards. Carmelo Adkins put together his best performance of the season, tallying 17 points on an efficient 6-for-11 from the field 😤

A barn burner to close out the weekend, the second game of the night was won by the Blue Checks, as they secured a narrow 72-69 victory over Rolling Loud. With the game tied at 66 apiece, Rivers Knight played the role of hero for the evening, as he knocked down a back-breaking triple with 15 seconds left to seize the win for the Blue Checks 💥

Seton Hall commit Jahseem Felton came up huge for the Checks, finishing the game with 19 points while also dishing out a team-high eight assists to give the Blue Checks their second consecutive win against a West Coast opponent. Rakease Passmore was his usual, steady self as he put together a stat line of 17 points, six boards and five assists 💪

Dominick Stewart was on a heater all game long, finishing with 23 points, the most he has scored this season, on a perfect 6-for-6 shooting mark from deep. Martin Somerville kept Rolling Loud in the game late, knotting up the contest at 66 apiece with a timely three, as he finished the night with 14 points 🪢

League play will continue tomorrow at 1PM in Brooklyn with a marquee matchup between the league’s top team, the City Reapers, and the winners of three straight, Jelly Fam 🎥
