😲 FaZe, Cold Hearts One Game Away

FaZe and the Cold Hearts are both up 2-0 in their semi-finals series. Both teams appear to be on a fast track to their first ever OTE Finals appearances. Read about all of the action from Saturday's game two's down below.

FaZe, Cold Hearts One Game Away

Semi-Finals:

📍 FaZe 77, RWE 65 (FaZe leads 2-0)

📍 Cold Hearts 107, YNG Dreamerz 99 (Cold Hearts lead 2-0)

FaZe took a commanding 2-0 lead in the semi-finals with their big win over RWE on Saturday evening. The game was knotted up entering the fourth quarter but FaZe was unfazed, out scoring RWE by 12 in the final frame to win their 16th straight game. Marcus Spears Jr. was dominant on both ends of the court, matching the team-high of 20 points while registering two steals and a block on defense 🔒

DaKari Spear notched 20 points of his own, including a couple of clutch buckets down the stretch, to go along with his three assists and two steals. Seven Spurlock recorded just his second double-double of the season with a nice line of 13 points and 12 rebounds 💪

For RWE, Taylen Kinney had another big scoring night, leading the team with 18 points while knocking in another four triples. Javon Bardwell returned from injury and picked up where he left off in the first round, scoring 12 points and notching six rebounds 🤕

The Cold Hearts hype train kept on chugging on Saturday night, as they took down the YNG Dreamerz 107-99 to go up 2-0 in the series. The Cold Hearts now find themselves just one win away from making their first trip to the OTE Finals in program history. Anderson Diaz put on a masterclass, showing off his shiftiness all over the court to put up a team-high 31 points and another team-high eight assists 🤯

MVP runner-up Adam Oumiddoch was no slouch himself, logging a cool 25 points to go along with another big night on the boards of eight rebounds. With the Dreamerz making a comeback late, it was Asher Elson who made some clutch plays in the closing minutes, finishing the night with 14 points and five boards 🥶

Caleb Jones was on a heater for YNG, leading all scorers in this game with 36 points, including six made triples, and in addition he also logged his first double-double of the season with 11 boards. Matt Allen also had a big scoring night with six triples of his own which helped him on his way to 26 points 😴

Both series could be decided on Thursday night with potential closeout game threes. RWE vs. FaZe tips off at 7 PM while the YNG Dreamerz will try to defend their title potentially for the last time against the Cold Hearts at 9 PM. All OTE playoff games can be watched on OTE’s YouTube channel 📱
