FaZe and the Cold Hearts each won game one of their semi-finals matchups on Friday night. Read all about the semi-finals action down below.

FaZe, Cold Hearts Take Game 1

First Round:

๐Ÿ“ FaZe 95, RWE 79 (FaZe leads 1-0)

๐Ÿ“ Cold Hearts 112, YNG Dreamerz 95 (CHS leads 1-0)

FaZe put together another statement win in game one of the semi-finals, defeating RWE 95-79 to take an early lead in the series. FaZe led by just one going into halftime but wore RWE down in the second half with an offensive onslaught, scoring 57 points over the final two frames. The Bullseye Award winner DaKari Spear got back to his typical scoring ways, logging a team-high 24 points which included four made triples on 50% shooting from three ๐ŸŽฏ

Every time RWE crept back into the game Marcus Spears Jr. would slam the door shut on them, finishing the night with 22 points, seven boards, two steals and a block. Austin Goosby filled all of the gaps that FaZe needed filled, posting an all-around stat line of eight points, nine boards, five assists and two blocks ๐Ÿ’ช

Taylen Kinney put up an unbelievable fight to keep RWE alive in game one, posting a game-high 30 points which included six made threes on 60% shooting from beyond the arc. Parker Robinson, Kinneyโ€™s right hand man, posted his eighth straight game with 20 or more points, scoring 25 points and also knocking down four triples ๐Ÿ‘Œ

The Cold Hearts pulled off the game one upset, taking down the YNG Dreamerz 112-95. After getting swept out of the semi-finals last season by the Dreamerz, the Cold Hearts came into this one with something to prove. MVP runner-up Adam Oumiddoch put on a show, logging 25 points which included a nice 4-for-5 night from beyond the arc ๐Ÿ˜ค

Anderson Diaz posted near triple-double numbers, notching a complete line of 21 points, eight rebounds and seven assists for his best playoff performance to date. Asher Elson continued his nice postseason run, having himself a big scoring night with 18 points and seven boards ๐Ÿ˜ฎโ€๐Ÿ’จ

For the YNG Dreamerz, Isaac Ellis had a big scoring night with 34 points but maybe even more impressively he set the OTE record for most assists in a playoff game with 16 dimes. Caleb Jones had yet another night of 20+ points, logging 23 points to go along with his five boards ๐Ÿช™

Both semi-finals series will continue with game twos tomorrow evening. Game two of FaZe vs. RWE tips off at 5 PM while the YNG Dreamerz will try to even up the series against the Cold Hearts at 7 PM. All OTE playoff games can be watched on OTEโ€™s YouTube channel ๐Ÿ“ฑ
