OTE Player of the Week

After leading Jelly Fam to two convincing wins last week, Ian Jackson was named the OTE Player of the Week for the first time in his career 🍇 

  • In Jelly Fam’s first game of the week, a two-point win over the YNG Dreamerz, Jackson led the team in scoring with 24 points, including some timely buckets down the home stretch of the game. He also pulled down eight rebounds and dished out four assists

  • Ian Jackson was incredible in the second game of the weekend as well, scoring a game-high 30 points, to go along with three steals and a block, in a nail-biter overtime victory against the Diamond Doves in which they overcame a 17-point deficit 🧊

Jackson is now second in the league in points per game, with a scoring average of 24.4 PPG after his two stellar performances last week. Jackson has scored in double figures in every game this season and has scored 20+ points in seven of the last eight games 🪣

With their two wins, Jelly Fam finds themselves above .500 for the first time all season, as they sit with a record of 5-4, which places them fourth in the standings 🚀

Jackson and the rest of Jelly Fam will take the court again next Saturday when they take on the City Reapers in Brooklyn 📱
