Isaac Goes for 56!
Isaac Ellis had history on his mind tonight, as he scored 56 points in the YNG Dreamerz win, breaking his brother’s record of 55 for the most points scored in a game in league history. Ellis put together a truly dominant performance rounding out the night with 56 points, seven assists and six boards all while shooting an efficient 48.4% from the field. The Dreamerz remain undefeated this season, moving to 7-0, and with two wins over FaZe under their belt an undefeated regular season truly doesn’t feel out of the question 🤯
The Dreamerz trailed by ten in the third quarter but a legendary run from Ellis put the game out of reach for FaZe and etched Ellis and the Dreamerz in the history books. Elsewhere for the Dreamerz, Caleb Jones had another strong showing with 14 points and nine boards 🔥
For FaZe, DaKari Spear’s performance was overshadowed by Ellis’ brilliance but he scored 30 of his own continuing his run as the most underrated scorer at OTE. Kamden McGilveary had a career night at OTE, scoring 21 points and dishing out four assists 🪙
The Cold Hearts are back in business with a 100-95 win over RWE on Friday night. Both of the Cold Hearts victories this season have come against RWE and this one moved them back to .500 on the season. Anderson Diaz was lights out all night long, finishing the evening with a career-high 36 points to go along with a game-high eight assists 🥶
Asher Elson was huge down the stretch, knocking down a clutch triple to put the Cold Hearts up four with 30 seconds remaining. That triple was part of a season-high 16 point effort on a night that Elson also pulled down 14 boards as part of a monster double-double. Omari Chaudhry had his strongest outing of the season with 16 points of his own while also logging three assists 👌
For RWE, Taylen Kinney continued his resurgence with a 21 point, six assist and two steal effort on a night where RWE needed everything he could offer to stay in the game. Mathias Alessanco is improving every single game, this game finishing with 12 points on three made triples while also pulling down five rebounds 💪
