First OTE Player of the Week

Jah Jackson was selected as the first OTE Player of the Week of the 2023-24 season after helping to lead the City Reapers to a perfect 2-0 start 💪

• The big man averaged 11.5 PPG and 9 RPG over the two contests, and was instrumental in establishing a strong post presence early in the games

• Jackson was the model of efficiency, shooting an incredible 73.3% from the field, as his game is built around taking efficient shots around the rim

• Jackson also left an imprint on the defensive end of the court as he totaled two blocks and three steals, with all three of his steals coming in the Reapers dominant victory over the Cold Hearts 🔒

The City Reapers, the reigning OTE Champions, came into the weekend as the fifth ranked team in the Strictly Rankings, and picked up two commanding wins over Jelly Fam and the Cold Hearts to remain as the only unbeaten team to have played a game this season 🙏

• In the closest game of the weekend for the Reapers, a nine point victory over Jelly Fam, Jackson was instrumental in holding on to the lead late as he pulled down multiple pivotal offensive rebounds

• The Reapers dominated the Cold Hearts in their second game of the weekend, leading by as many as 37 points, and Jackson played a massive role registering a near double-double, falling just one point shy

• He made life immensely difficult for the Cold Hearts, as they were held to a dreadful 44.4% shooting mark on 2-point field goals, which Jackson had a direct impact on. Plus, he’s known for the vibes 👇

Jackson and the Reapers will be back in action on Friday at OTE Arena at 7:00PM on Amazon Prime when they take on RWE, who are off to a surprising 0-2 start to the season
