RWE, Doves Pick Up Big Wins

Despite a spirited comeback attempt from Jelly Fam, RWE took care of business on Friday evening with a 97-89 win. RWE is now in sole possession of second place in the standings with a record of 12-5. Jasper Johnson nearly posted the first triple-double of the season with a final stat line of 26 points, nine boards and eight assists 2️⃣ 

Taylen Kinney was a menace punishing Jelly Fam in transition, creating equal opportunity for himself and his teammates resulting in 22 points. Tee Bartlett had one of his best nights of the season, owning the paint with 18 points and seven boards 🎨

For Jelly Fam, it was Yandel German who spearheaded the team’s comeback attempt, finishing with a team-high 22 points while also dishing out eight assists and snaring five steals. Thomas Bassong looks more and more like a budding prospect, as he played 34 minutes and scored a strong 19 points and pulled down seven rebounds 🍇

The Diamond Doves survived a scare from the Cold Hearts, winning in the second game of the evening 85-80. Isaiah Henry had a monster performance, logging his fourth double-double of the season with 23 points and 13 boards to lead the Doves to victory 👑

Javon Bardwell played like a man possessed down the stretch with a couple of key clutch buckets as he ended his night with 15 points. Kaidon Rayfield continued his ascent, scoring in double figures for the sixth time in the last seven games with 13 points while also pulling down eight boards 🪣

For the Cold Hearts, Marcus Gillespie stepped up to the plate, putting up a career-high 26 points thanks to five made triples. Kai Rogers continued to establish himself as the most dominant big man in the league, registering 17 points and six boards 🌊
