Overtime Elite pushes into the heart of its season during the upcoming holiday weekend, with six games over the four nights, kicking off with Jelly Fam against the YNG Dreamerz at 7PM on Friday, which will be aired on Prime Videoย ๐Ÿ™Œ

The six game weekend will begin with the highly anticipated matchup of Ian Jackson and Jelly Fam taking on Eli Ellis and the YNG Dreamerz. Ellis and Jackson come into this matchup as the two highest scorers in the league at 38.2 and 23.7 PPG, respectively. Jelly Fam is looking to get to .500 with a win on Friday night, while a win for the Dreamerz would push them further into the upper echelon of teams in the league ๐Ÿ”

Friday night will round out with the first battle of the season between the Cold Hearts and the Diamond Doves. The Diamond Doves played both of the other Atlanta based teams (RWE and City Reapers) earlier this week and put up valiant efforts against both, but were unable to capture a win in either game. The Doves, who have been led in scoring by Arizona State commit Ketraleus Aldridge this season, will have their hands full again on Friday as they try to stop the dynamic backcourt of Mikel Brown Jr. and Adam Oumiddochย ๐Ÿ’ช

The YNG Dreamerz and Cold Hearts will each play their second game of the weekend on Saturday at 7PM in what is a highly anticipated matchup between two of the top three teams in the league. After a quiet end to the month of December, Kanon Catchings came roaring back to life on Saturday, as he led the Cold Hearts in scoring with 16 points, including the game winning bucket in a two-point win over RWE. Lost in the Eli Ellis scoring bonanza last Saturday was Don Lewis, who scored a career-high 28 points, which included an outstanding five triples for the big man ๐ŸŽฏ

The final game of Saturday will be played between two teams seemingly headed in different directions in the Diamond Doves and Jelly Fam. Jelly Fam finally broke through their three-game losing slump and defeated the Cold Hearts last week, and now appear to be a team on the up-and-up heading into this weekend. The Diamond Doves are in the midst of a rough cold spell, as they have lost five straight games, but look to bounce back with a win over the Cold Hearts this weekend ๐Ÿชƒ

In the first game of MLK day, we get the third round of what has been one of the best matchups this season between the City Reapers and RWE. Back on December 8, RWE handed the City Reapers their first loss of the season, as Karter Knox and Daquan Davis combined to score 41 points. Two weeks later, the City Reapers got their revenge as they defeated RWE by four points, thanks to a team effort in which four players scored in double figures for the Reapers โš”๏ธ

The last game of the weekend will be a rematch between the Cold Hearts and YNG Dreamerz after they play for the first time this season on Saturday.ย Eli Ellis comes into this game as the reigning OTE Player of the Week after dropping 50 points (OTE single game scoring record) in a win over the Blue Checksย ๐Ÿชฃ
