One-Loss Teams Face Off

The City Reapers and Blue Checks will kick off the weekend, playing for the second time this season. Jahki Howard won OTE Player of the Week after these two teams last matched-up, as he served as the engine for the City Reapers offense. Bryson Tiller is also a force to be reckoned with, as he has put up four straight double-doubles, including a 17 point, ten rebound effort in their matchup in December 😤

Cold Hearts Going for the Three-Peat

In the second game of the evening, Jelly Fam and Cold Hearts will face off for the third time, with the Cold Hearts emerging victorious in both of their previous two contests. The two prior matchups have been highlighted by the team's star guards, as Ian Jackson and Adam Oumiddoch have stolen the show. Jackson averaged 28.5 PPG in their two prior meetings, and he’ll need all of that if the Checks hope to snap their current two-game slide. Oumiddoch has matched Jackson blow for blow, dropping 24 points in the team’s battles against Jelly Fam 🎯

Dynamic Duo Showdown

The Cold Hearts and RWE will face off for the second time this season on Saturday night, and the season opener between the two was one of the best games in the entire league this season. The high-scoring duo of Daquan Davis and Karter Knox each crossed the 20-point threshold for RWE, while the dynamic backcourt of Mikel Brown Jr. and Oumiddoch combined to score 49 points in that contest. Coming into this weekend, RWE is looking to get to .500 for the first time since mid-December, as their season appears to be coming together since the acquisition of big-man Peyton Marshall 💪

Battle for North Carolina

The weekend closes out with a battle between the Carolina teams, as the YNG Dreamerz take on the Blue Checks for the second time this season. The number one storyline of the night will be the absence of Eli and Isaac Ellis for the YNG Dreamerz, who are both out with injuries. The Dreamerz will need others to step up in their absence, most notably Don Lewis, who comes into this matchup as the teams second leading scorer at 11.8 PPG. This game also serves as an opportunity for Blue Checks and Kansas commit Rakease Passmore to showcase his blossoming game, as he is averaging 18.8 PPG, the fifth best mark in the league 🔥
