👏 OTE Playoffs Are Set

It was an action-packed final night of the regular season at OTE and now the playoffs are set, tipping off on Tuesday evening. Read about the Saturday night action from across the league down below.

Playing on senior night in Atlanta, RWE closed out their season with a big win over the shorthanded YNG Dreamerz and built some nice momentum as they head into the playoffs with the three seed. Taylen Kinney had an all-around great game, posting a gaudy stat line of 22 points, six assists and six boards 3️⃣

Parker Robinson posted his fourth game this season with 20 or more points, as his scoring talents were on full display all night long. Jasper Johnson was dishing, as he doled out a game-high nine assists to go along with ten points and six boards 🪙

The YNG Dreamerz were playing without Eli Ellis, Isaac Ellis, Kohl Rosario and Abu Yarmah but still fought hard as they worked to maintain their momentum as they head into the playoffs with the number one overall seed. Jaiden Haynes is on another level right now scoring over 30 for the second time in three games, finishing his night with 32 points, seven assists and five boards 🔥

The City Reapers clinched the second seed on Saturday night as they handily dispatched of the Cold Hearts 102-74 to earn the double-bye. Meleek Thomas put the team on his back to carry them to the two seed, making one last push for the OTE MVP, as he finished the evening with 34 points and 11 boards 🏅

Jayden Wilkins' Friday night heater carried over into Saturday, as he knocked down another three triples to finish the night with 16 points. Styles Clemmons had arguably his best game in a City Reapers uniform, spending his whole night wheeling and dealing to the tune of six assists which accompanied his 12 points 🎡

For the Cold Hearts, Diamant Blazi continued his quality play, as he logged a 14 point, seven rebound stat line. Omari Chaudhry dished out a career-high eight assists which marks his fourth game in a row with six or more assists 🥶

Playing in Phoenix, Jelly Fam got a big win over Fear of God Athletics, winning 63-58 which has major playoff seeding implications. Jelly Fam was already locking into the seven seed but Fear of God Athletics has fallen to the six seed after going 0-2 this weekend. Jelly Fam got a big game out of Thomas Bassong who finished with a 20 points, ten rebound double-double 🍇

The Diamond Doves completed the final leg of their unlikely quest for the fifth seed with a massive 95-67 upset over the Blue Checks to close out Saturday in Phoenix. The Doves are now locked into the five seed while the Blue Checks had already secured the fourth seed. Isaiah Henry had the best game of his career to catapult the Doves, finishing with 31 points and ten boards 🕊️

The OTE playoffs begin on Tuesday with a single-elimination first round that will see the #8 Cold Hearts pitted against the #5 Diamond Doves at 7 PM before #7 Jelly Fam takes on #6 Fear of God Athletics at 9 PM on YouTube 🎞️
