The OTE regular season is coming to a close this weekend but there is still so much left to shake out before the playoffs get started next Tuesday. The Game of the Week is a rivalry that is as old as time as the City Reapers take on RWE at 7 p.m. on Friday in a game that has massive playoff implications. Both teams are vying for the two seed which also comes with the coveted double-bye straight to the semi-finals. If RWE wins this game they will officially clinch the two seed while the City Reapers need to win this game and to defeat the Cold Hearts on Saturday 2️⃣

The Reapers are 2-0 against RWE this season although both games have come down to the wire. In their first meeting, the Reapers pulled out a four point win with DPOY favorite Amari Evans leading the charge, scoring 23 points and registering two steals. Their more recent matchup came at the end of January and ended in a low-scoring 77-67 win for the Reapers thanks to 17 points and ten boards from MVP finalist Meleek Thomas 🏅

RWE has been one of the hotter teams in the league, winning 11 of their last 12 games with their only loss coming to the Reapers. RWE has the number one offense in the league, scoring 93.3 PPG and that is thanks in large part to the efforts of MVP finalists Taylen Kinney and Jasper Johnson, who are both top ten in the league in scoring 🪣

Following the Reapers vs. RWE game, the Cold Hearts will look to pull off the upset of the season as they play the YNG Dreamerz at 9 p.m. on Prime Video. The Cold Hearts are coming off of their second win of the season and now are looking to build on that momentum and will turn to DPOY finalist Kai Rogers to guide them this weekend 🚧

On Saturday, RWE takes on the YNG Dreamerz in a potential OTE Finals preview. RWE is 0-2 so far this season against the Dreamerz but don’t sleep on RWE, as DPOY finalist Keshawn Fisher is one of the best matchups the league has to offer for Eli Ellis. The regular season closes out on Saturday at 7 p.m. as the Cold Hearts take on the City Reapers one last time 😴
