💯 OTE Rounds Out 2024-25 Recruiting Class

Overtime Elite rounded out its 2024-25 class with six more prospects announced over the last week. Learn about all of the new players coming to OTE next season down below.

OTE Rounds Out 24-25 Recruiting Class

Over the course of the last week, Overtime Elite announced the signing of the final six players of their 2024-25 recruiting class. OTE added two more players ranked in the top 30 of their respective classes and also three international players 🔥

Overtime Elite announced the signing of point guard Taylen Kinney on Monday afternoon, the 28th ranked player in the class of 2026 according to ESPN. Kinney is a 6-2, 176 lb 4-star guard from Newport, KY who played his sophomore season for Newport High School. During his sophomore season, Kinney led the Wildcats to a record of 32-4 as he led the team in scoring at 17.5 PPG. Kinney showed he was more than just a scorer though as he was also third on the team in assists (2.4 APG) and steals (1.1 SPG). Kinney was one of the most efficient scorers in the state of Kentucky, knocking down 83% of his free throws while also hitting his triples at a blistering 41% clip 👌

Moustapha Diop is one of highest ranked prospects coming into Overtime Elite for the 2024-25 season, as the 19th ranked player in the class of 2026 according to ESPN. Diop is a 6-11, 210 lb center who played his sophomore season for the Walker School in Marietta, GA. During his sophomore season, Diop played in 29 games where he averaged 18.1 points and 13.1 rebounds per game while also averaging an astounding 3.2 blocks per game. For his accomplishments during his second high school season, Diop was named to the Sophomore All-American Third Team by MaxPreps 💪

Diamant Blazi is a 6-8, 190 lb forward from Sete, France who moved to the USA last year to play his senior season for Jordan Christian Prep in Auburndale, FL. Blazi played in 22 games his senior year where he averaged 10.6 PPG, the third leading scorer for the team. Blazi helped lead Jordan Christian Prep to a record of 22-7. For his accomplishments, Blazi was a First Team All-State selection by the Sunshine Independent Athletic Association. Before coming to the US, Blazi played professionally for Roanne in the French LNB Espoirs league ⭐

Hugo Facorat is a 6-10, 186 lb forward from Toulouse, France who played his most recent season for the U18 and U21 teams of Elan Bearnais Pau-Lacq-Orthez, a French Division 2 club. On top of his in-season experience, Facorat also plays for the U18 Next Generation Team Paris who won the final of the Adidas Next Generation Tournament in Paris in April of 2024. Facorat was the team's second leading scorer at the tournament with an average of 13.8 PPG while also leading the team in blocks at 1.5 per game 🇫🇷

Wei Lun Zhao is a 5-11, 167 lb Italian-Chinese guard who will be doing a postgraduate year with Overtime Elite in 2024-25. Zhao was born in Prato, Italy and most recently played for OpenJobMetis Varese where he averaged 4.3 points per game and an assist a game in three games of action. In 2023, Zhao played in the FIBA U19 World Cup where he played with China. Zhao was the team’s third leading scorer at 8.3 PPG while shooting a blistering 46.2% from three on nearly four attempts per game 🇨🇳

Micah Tucker is a 6-3, 170 lb point guard from Huntington, WV who played his junior season for Huntington Prep. Competing at Peach Jam in the summer of 2024, Tucker averaged 12.4 points, 2.0 rebounds and 3.4 assists per game for Boo Williams Nike EYBL AAU program. Tucker played 24.8 minutes per contest and shot a rock-solid 48% from the field. Tucker’s strongest showing came against the Peach jam champ Nightrydas Elite, a game in which Tucker scored 18 and dished out seven assists ⛰️
