๐จ OTE Drops Five New Teams
We're just a few weeks away from OTE season 3 tipping off, and we have five new teams joining us this season. The jerseys are fire, the rosters are set, and our new wave of prospects have been in the gym. I got all the details for you...get ready fam December 1st will be here real soon ๐ (2 min read)
Season 3 Is Here
OTE is back and season 3 is going to be bigger than ever. After a historic offseason with two top-5 picks, two players on the Ignite (with others entering the G League draft) and two two-way players joining the NBA from Overtime Elite, weโve added several top prospects and four new teams to our league. The three core Atlanta teams this season will be the City Reapers, Cold Hearts and RWE. Cam Wilder is looking to shake things up and has promised a chip in his OTE debut ๐
Somto Cyril and Nathan Missia-Dio headline a RWE team that boasts tough players like Karter Knox and Tyler Jackson, and also have the youngest player in OTE history in Lincoln Cosby. This team should be tough, and donโt sleep on Big Nate ๐ช
Jelly Fam joins OTE from New York, and weโre fired up to work with one of the most influential basketball brands in the country. Isaiah Washington, aka The CoFounder, helped us break this huge news. Tap in if you missed it ๐
UNC commit Ian Jackson and Syracuse commit Elijah Moore will be a problem, and Iโm definitely looking forward to seeing them go up against the other top OTE prospects. These jerseys might be the best in the business ๐
After one game in Atlanta last season, the Blue Checks will join OTE full time from North Carolina. They should fit right in, and if you recognize the name hereโs why ๐ค
The Diamond Doves might be a new team, but you definitely have seen clips from their gym in Phoenix. Ankles have been snatched and dunks have been thrown down on the iconic Black Court, and now itโll be home to some serious OTE competition. Admit it, these jerseys go hard ๐
Next up is Rolling Loud, you know, the massive music festival that goes down every summer. Yeah, they have a team in our league. No big deal. Naas Cunningham has moved out to Southern California and will headline a potentially dangerous team. Hip-hop x basketball ๐ง
@rollingloud.ote Weโre combining the best of both worlds. Enter team ROLLING LOUD ๐ #ote #hoops
Lastly, you guys have have been wondering whatโs going on with the YNG Dreamerz. Well theyโve moved to North Carolina and will feature Eli Ellis, aka the best shooter in the world, and his brother Isaac. Their dad, Jeremy Ellis, will coach a team that could have a pretty big internet presence ๐บ
This season is going to be bigger than we ever imagined, with the regular season tipping off on December 1st. We have several ticketed preseason games coming up, highlighted by the Boozer Twins coming to ATL this weekend. If youโre in the area, cop tickets here and come through ๐ฟ
