OTE Season 3 Kicks Off

The Overtime Elite season will kick off this weekend, with four high octane teams in action over the course of four games between Friday and Saturday

The season begins Friday, December 1st at 7PM ST on Amazon Prime, with the reigning champion City Reapers taking on the visiting Jelly Fam to kick things off. The two highest rated prospects in all of Overtime Elite will face off against one another - Bryson Tiller of the City Reapers is the sixth rated prospect in the class of 2025, while Jelly Fam’s Ian Jackson stands as the 17th rated prospect in the class of 2024 (according to ESPN)  👀

Jackson recently committed to UNC, while Tiller’s post-OTE plans are still in the works. Bryson has offers from some of the top programs in the country 🚀

Following the conclusion of the first game, the Cold Hearts will face off with OTE’s newest team, RWE at 8:30PM on YouTube. Between RWE and Cold Hearts, every player on the two teams has received interest from Division I institutions, which speaks to the level of talent across the Atlanta based OTE teams 💯

• The Cold Hearts had four players - Peyton Marshall (Missouri), John Bol (Ole Miss), Trey Parker (NC State) and Kanon Catchings (Purdue) - commit to play Division 1

• Somto Cyril of RWE is signed to play with the Kentucky Wildcats next season

Play on Saturday kicks off with a rematch of last season’s semi-finals, as the City Reapers battle the Cold Hearts at 2PM on YouTube ⚔️

• The two bigs for the Cold Hearts, John Bol and Peyton Marshall, will face off this weekend against recent Auburn commit Jahki Howard, as each of them are set to duel against one another next year as members of the SEC conference

• Bol (Ole Miss) and Marshall (Missouri) make up a dominant front-court for the Cold Hearts, while Howard is one of the highest flyers in the world, which translates to some of the most exciting highlights one can see on a basketball court 👇️

The weekend will finish off with one of the most exciting matchups of the season, as Jelly Fam and RWE are set for a duel at 3:30PM on YouTube 🤯

• RWE was the top team in the league for the duration of the preseason, as they went an outstanding 8-1 with their only loss coming by a single point

• On top of their stellar record, they also led all teams with a preseason average of 89.2 PPG. Despite being the newest team to the league, the way they have performed across the preseason suggest they will be one of the best teams in the league this season
