Reapers Continue to Add New Talent
The City Reapers continue to add promising new faces to their roster, announcing the addition of Alan Shi on Thursday afternoon ๐
Shi is a 6-10, 240 lb forward in the class of 2026 from Brookline, Massachusetts who is known for his dominant post play and elite footwork. In his most recent season, playing for Brookline, Shi was named All-State after averaging 20 points, 14 rebounds and four blocks per game ๐ช
In just three years of varsity play, Shi racked up over 500 rebounds and 200 blocks demonstrating just how dominant he can be in the painted area. In his final season at Brookline, Shi was named as the Boston Globe Player of the Week on three separate occasions. Shi is now playing with the Riverside Hawks 17u team on the UAA Circuit ๐ฆ
With Shi joining the Reapers, he forms a frightening duo with returning big man and four star prospect Moustapha Diop. Shi is well equipped to help push the Reapers over the edge and back to their winning ways as they are on the hunt for their third championship in four years ๐
