MLK Weekend will be a fun one at OTE, especially for RWE who have to go through a gauntlet of three games in four days against some of the best teams in the league. RWE currently sits in fourth in the standings with a record of 8-4 and with a good weekend they could move up as high as second 🫣

RWE’s weekend kicks off on Friday night with a matchup against the Cold Hearts, the hottest team at OTE. The Cold Hearts have won nine straight games, tied for the third longest win streak in OTE history. Meanwhile, RWE has won five straight and have looked near unstoppable with the midseason acquisition of Javon Bardwell from the Diamond Doves. The Cold Hearts are 2-0 against RWE this season but have only won by an average of four points per game and, maybe most importantly, they will be without Adam Oumiddoch on Friday night 🤕

Following their game against the Cold Hearts, RWE will face off against the reigning champs, the YNG Dreamerz. After an unbelievable start to the season, the Dreamerz have found themselves in a bit of a rut recently. The Dreamerz have dropped their last two games, a shocking upset at the hands of RWE and a 30-point drubbing against FaZe, and they come into this weekend without MVP favorite Isaac Ellis, who will be out this weekend with an injury. RWE can surpass YNG in the standings with a win in this game 😮

In the final game of the weekend, RWE will play the Cold Hearts for the second time in four days on MLK Day. Adam Oumiddoch will enter into this matchup with a questionable tag so it is a possibility we get to see a matchup between both of these teams at full strength which would instantly be the game of the week. Oumiddoch is one point away from becoming the third player in OTE history to cross the 1,000 point threshold (Eli and Isaac Ellis are the other two) which should provide him with some extra motivation in this game 💪

The only game this weekend not featuring RWE is the City Reapers and YNG Dreamerz OTE Finals rematch at 7 PM on Friday night. Both teams are reeling a bit right now but the Reapers might have an opportunity to pull off the upset of the year. The Reapers desperately need a win to secure their playoff spot and since the addition of 5-star Jaylan Mitchell to their roster they have been playing in much more competitive games. The Dreamerz may be without Ellis, but they still have Caleb Jones, who is fourth in scoring in the league this season and is a potential candidate for the Most Underrated award 😮‍💨
