๐ตโ๐ซ RWE, Reapers Stay Neck and Neck
RWE and the City Reapers both picked up critical wins on Friday night as they continue to hunt for the coveted two seed in the OTE Playoffs. Read about all of the Friday night OTE action down below.

RWE, Reapers Stay Neck and Neck
RWE survived a spirited comeback attempt from the Blue Checks, winning the game 97-83 and maintaining their slim lead for the two seed. RWE led 70-44 entering the fourth quarter and surrendered a 23-2 run that saw the Blue Checks cut the lead to five before RWE weathered the storm. Jasper Johnson did his thing, leading the team with 18 points and seven assists in helping RWE to the critical win ๐ฉ๏ธ
Jackson McVey played one of his better games of the season, rounding out the evening with 16 points and dominating the paint on defense to the tune of three blocks. Taylen Kinney didnโt have his biggest scoring night but he filled up the box score in other ways as his night concluded with seven boards, five assists and four steals ๐ถ
For the Blue Checks, Kaden Magwood had a monstrous game, as he dropped 30 points on five three-pointers made while also pulling down ten boards, marking just his second double-double of the season. Taye Smith also put together a double-double with 23 points and 12 rebounds as he helped fill the gaps for the shorthanded Blue Checks ๐น
The City Reapers pulled out a must-win game against Jelly Fam in the second game of the evening, capturing a massive 93-75 victory. Amari Evans became OTEโs all-time steals leader with a five steal night bringing his total to 115 which surpassed Johned Walkerโs 112 steals ๐คฏ
Meleek Thomas led the team in scoring per usual, racking up 29 points while also recording his ninth double-double of the season with 12 rebounds. Micah Tucker made some big contributions, as he tallied 14 points to go along with four assists and four boards ๐ชฃ
For Jelly Fam, Jermel Thomas had the best game of his career, scoring a personal best 27 points while also dishing out a team-high seven assists. Thomas Bassong had a big night on the boards, pulling down 13 and also recording his second double-double of the season with ten points ๐ช
