The Dreamerz Survive Game 1
The YNG Dreamerz survived one of the wildest games in OTE history, defeating the City Reapers 93-91 to take Game 1 of the OTE Finals. A game that was extremely heated early, which saw four players ejected and two more players foul out, ended in one of the crazier sequences we have ever seen. Both teams were trading buckets back-and-forth for the final minute before Taj Walters came down the court with ice in his veins and knocked down the game-winning triple with six seconds 🤯
Eli Ellis was ejected in the third quarter but that didn’t stop him from putting up an absurd 29 points, including 24 in the first half, as he was in attack mode from the jump. With Eli ejected and Kohl Rosario fouled out, it was Jaiden Haynes who stepped up yet again scoring a playoff-high 20 points and hitting clutch buckets down the stretch to keep the Dreamerz in it late 💥
Meleek Thomas fouled out mid-way through the fourth quarter but before that he battled his way to a double-double with 28 points and ten rebounds as he did everything in his power to get the Reapers the win. Kole Grandison was clutch down the stretch hitting the Reapers final bucket, a three from the corner with 15 seconds left, as he finished the night with 13 points and four boards 😮💨
The Dreamerz and Reapers will be back in action for another high octane Game 2 of the OTE Finals tomorrow night at 7 PM on Prime Video 🎞️
