What Canโt Isaac Do?
The YNG Dreamerz dismantled the City Reapers on Saturday night but the real headline is that Isaac Ellis had one of the greatest regular season games in OTE history. Ellis was already having a spectacular night midway through the fourth quarter, with the first triple-double of his career, but he capped it the night off by breaking the OTE single game assist record with 18 dimes on the night. Ellis already owned the single game points record, scoring 56 in a win over FaZe earlier this season and now he owns both major league records ๐คฏ
Ellis finished with an absolutely bonkers stat line of 23 points, 18 assists and ten boards as he dissected every defense the Reapers tried to throw at him. On top of Ellisโs historic night, Matt Allen had yet another great game as he scored 20+ points for the second consecutive night, his first two 20 balls of the year, finishing the evening with 27 points and eight boards ๐ฅ
For the City Reapers, Jeremy Jenkins had his way in the paint, scoring 23 points on 60% shooting from the floor, while also posting seven boards and four assists. Howard Williams has been coming into his own the last couple of nights, posting another nice stat line of 16 points and three boards ๐
Jelly Fam closed out the night and 2025 at OTE with a 86-78 win over the Blue Checks that pushed them up to a tie for sixth in the standings. Jelly Fam got a big night out of Yandel German, as he approached a triple-double with a final stat line of 17 points, eight assists and six boards ๐
Torrey Brooks Jr. had another big night, playing his way into All-OTE contention, rounding out the evening with a team-high 27 points and five rebounds. Julian Desir had his strongest game of the season, finishing with 20 points on 70.0% shooting from the field ๐ช
For the Blue Checks, Santonio Waide filled in admirably for the absent Yohance Connor, registering his fourth straight game with 20+ points, as his night ended with 35 points, five assists and five steals. Jayden Heggins may not have scored any points in this one but he had a monster effort on the glass, ripping down a career-high ten boards ๐ฐ
OTE will enjoy a nice holiday break before returning on Saturday, January 3 for an age old rivalry between RWE and the City Reapers at 5 PM before the Dreamerz take on the Diamond Doves. All OTE games can be watched on OTEโs YouTube channel this season ๐ฑ
