Dreamerz Get Their Revenge

The YNG Dreamerz exacted their revenge on the City Reapers with a near wire-to-wire 103-90 victory on Friday night. The Dreamerz have lost just one game all season and it came against the Reapers back in December. The Dreamerz now have a firm grasp on the number one overall seed as the playoffs draw nearer. Eli Ellis did typical Eli stuff, leading all scorers with 26 points, dishing out nine assists and making an impact on defense with five steals ⭐

Isaac Ellis had his first 20 point game since back in December, scoring 23 points to go alongside five assists. Taj Walters had his best game in a Dreamerz jersey, scoring a career-high 20 points on 70% shooting from the field 💪

Meleek Thomas did his best to keep the Reapers alive in this game but his 22 points ultimately proved too little. Amari Evans played all 36 minutes and put up a complete stat line of 18 points, five assists and four boards while also being tasked with guarding Eli all night 💀

RWE demolished the Diamond Doves 107-86 to move their win streak to nine games in a row and into sole possession of second place in the league. Jasper Johnson filled up the box score in the win, logging 16 points, seven rebounds and five assists in what was a dominant display all around 😤

Parker Robinson led the team in scoring with 19 points as his game is looking more and more crisp with each passing day. Taylen Kinney was a menace on the defensive end, logging a career-high five steals while also putting up 17 points 🔒

For the Diamond Doves, Javon Bardwell continued his ascent into the teams go-to scorer role, leading the team with 32 points. Kaidon Rayfield showed that he is still one of OTE’s most underrated bigs, registering 14 points and eight rebounds while manning the paint on defense with three blocks 📈

Both RWE and the City Reapers will take the court again tomorrow in a marquee matchup at 5 p.m. on YouTube. The weekend will be closed out with the first ever meeting between the Diamond Doves and Fear of God Athletics at 7 p.m. 🎞️
