Eli Ellis won his second consecutive OTE MVP award making him the second player in OTE history - Ausar Thompson won the first two OTE MVP awards - to accomplish the impressive feat. Ellis led the YNG Dreamerz to a record of 17-3 and the #1 overall seed in the playoffs for the second year in a row. Ellis led the league in scoring at 32.1 PPG, over five points higher than the next highest scorer, and led the league in assists (6.7 APG) for the first time in his career. Playing against RWE in December, Ellis broke his own record for the most points ever scored in an OTE game when he dropped an absurd 55 in the Dreamerz win ๐คฉ
Amari Evans became the first ever player to win back-to-back DPOY as he took home the award in a crowded race. Evans led the league in steals per game for the second year in a row, posting 2.5 SPG this season while matching up against the other team's primary scoring option each night. Evans has recorded 118 steals in his OTE career which is the most steals in a career in OTE history ๐๏ธ
Josiah Parker came into this season as a relatively unheralded prospect in the class of 2025 and leaves the year as a nationally ranked prospect and one of the best players at OTE. Parker helped lead the Blue Checks to a top four seed in the playoffs as one of only two players to land in the top ten in PPG (21.9 PPG, 5th), RPG (9.9 RPG, 1st) and APG (4.0 APG, 10th). On top of putting up big counting stats, Parker was also one of the more efficient players in the league, making 53.7% of his field goal attempts during the year which was sixth best in the league ๐
Eli Ellis, Meleek Thomas, Shon Abaev, Taylen Kinney and Jasper Johnson all come as no surprise as members of the All-OTE team after each of them were named as finalists for the OTE MVP. The Dreamerz snared three spots on the All-OTE Team as Ellis was joined by his brother Isaac Ellis and Kohl Rosario. The leagueโs DPOY, Amari Evans and Most Underrated Player, Josiah Parker also landed on the All-OTE Team. The final spot was awarded to Thomas Bassong who was a finalist for DPOY and was Jelly Famโs leading scorer on the season ๐
