Laver and Lewis Join the Cold Hearts

The Cold Hearts announced two new additions to their roster for the 2025-26 season on Wednesday afternoon. The Cold Hearts, who are looking to improve upon their semi-finals appearance last season, have added big man Ty Lewis and forward Owen Laver 🥶

Ty Lewis is a 7-0, center in the class of 2027 who will bring some much needed size to the Cold Hearts front court as they deal with the departure of All-OTE center Kai Rogers, who will be playing at Oklahoma next season. Lewis is a mobile big man who has feathery touch around the rim and is an elite rim protector on the defensive end. Lewis should pair well with fellow Ty, Ty Sutton, who is a burgeoning star guard and was announced as the Cold Hearts first new player earlier this month 💪

Owen Laver is a young, 6-7 forward in the class of 2028 who will be joining the Cold Hearts from Staunton, Virginia. Laver recently led his 15U AAU team, Team Loaded, to the 15U Slam Championship on the adidas 3SSB circuit. Laver led his team with 18 points in the championship game. Laver isn’t new to winning either, as earlier this year he led his former high school, Stuart Hall, to the state title 🏆
