OTE Game of the YEAR

Fear of God Athletics took down RWE in overtime in one of the greatest games in OTE history to advance to the semi-finals against #2 City Reapers. Down three with just five seconds left RWE marched down the court and Keshawn Fisher banked in the most improbable of threes to tie the game at 92 send the game to overtime ๐Ÿ˜ฑ

In overtime, RWE jumped out to a quick lead thanks to Taylen Kinney getting a quick score at the rim and then knocking down a pair of free throws. Only needing one point to win, RWE got to the line to shoot two and tragically missed the pair. That was all Fear of God Athletics needed as they went down and had Collin Paul hit a three before getting fouled on the ensuing possession where he confidently knocked down both free throws to win the game for FOGA ๐Ÿ˜ฎโ€๐Ÿ’จ

Shon Abaev is not messing around in these playoffs as he scored a game-high 36 points while also dishing out nine assists and pulling down six boards. Paul was the hero in overtime but he had an excellent game from start to finish, scoring 25 points and ripping down 11 boards for his third double-double of the season ๐Ÿ

After missing the first two games of the series, Kinney returned for this decisive matchup and he was remarkable, scoring 23 points and dishing out eight assists, as he did everything in his power to keep RWE alive. Tee Bartlett matched his biggest scoring night of the season with a cool 19 points to complement his eight boards ๐Ÿ’ช

The Cold Hearts did the unthinkable, upsetting the fourth seeded Blue Checks 97-88 in Game 3 to advance to the semi-finals where they will take on the #1 overall seed in the playoffs, the YNG Dreamerz. The Cold Hearts battled their hearts out and Kai Rogers was the linchpin for everything they did, as he finished the night with a team-high 24 points while also pulling down nine boards ๐Ÿคฏ

Marcus Gillespie has been on another level in these playoffs, shooting an insane 15-25 from deep, which included a 4-for-6 night in Game 3 that saw him finish with 17 points. Omari Chaudhry continues to be a revelation in the playoffs at point guard, scoring 21 points and dishing out a team-high five assists ๐Ÿ‘Œ

OTEโ€™s Most Underrated Player Josiah Parker did everything in his power to keep the Blue Checksโ€™ season alive, as he poured in 27 points and nine boards. Kaden Magwood was ejected from the game four minutes into the fourth quarter, but prior to his departure from the game he put up a big scoring night of 21 points on four triples made. Caleb Thomas had a first half for the ages, dishing out ten assists, which is the record for most assists in a half in OTE history ๐Ÿช™

The OTE Semi-Finals kick off this Tuesday with a David vs. Goliath matchup of the #8 Cold Hearts vs. #1 YNG Dreamerz at 7 PM. That matchup will be followed with the highly anticipated grudge match between #6 Fear of God Athletics vs. #2 City Reapers at 9 PM. Both games will be streamed on YouTube ๐ŸŽฅ
