OTE’s Best Rivalry Renewed

This week OTE’s best rivalry is renewed as the YNG Dreamerz take on RWE on YouTube at 7 PM on Saturday in what should be a thrilling grudge match. The Dreamerz and RWE met in last year’s semi-finals and, despite the Dreamerz coming into that matchup with the number one overall seed in the playoffs, RWE swept them out of the playoffs. The Dreamerz exacted their revenge on RWE on opening night with a narrow five-point victory which is the closest game the undefeated Dreamerz have played in this season 🤯

The Dreamerz are poised to be one of the league’s best teams ever with an undefeated record and an average margin of victory of nearly 25 points per game. RWE’s season has been a little more up and down with a 2-3 record and wins over Fear of God Athletics and Jelly Fam. Both teams are looking to settle the score in their second meeting of the season, which is the last time the two teams will play until the regular season finale 💪

Reigning OTE MVP Eli Ellis leads the way for the Dreamerz, as he appears well poised for a repeat MVP campaign. Ellis is second in the league in scoring at 29.8 PPG while also leading the league in assists, dishing out a career-high 7.2 dimes per game. Eli and his brother Isaac Ellis make up the league’s best backcourt and have yet to be outscored by a duo on any team in any game this season 🪙

If RWE is going to be the first team to beat the Dreamerz this season it will be on the back of their fearsome backcourt of Jasper Johnson and Taylen Kinney. The two are both top ten in scoring in the league this season and are both elite three-point shooters with both of their percentages landing above 40.0% 👌

On Friday night the City Reapers and Diamond Doves rematch at 7 PM after the Reapers handed the Doves a 20-point beatdown just before Thanksgiving. Friday night concludes on Prime Video at 9 PM with the first meeting of the season between MVP favorites Eli Ellis and Shon Abaev, as Fear of God Athletics plays host to the Dreamerz ⚔️

Before Saturday’s marquee matchup of the Dreamerz and RWE, Fear of God Athletics and the Cold Hearts play at 5 PM in a rematch of one of the most exciting games of the season in which Shon Abaev set the season-high mark in points with 42 🎯
