This weekend’s busy slate of games is all about the hottest team at OTE: RWE. RWE is hotter than hot, winning their last six games, twice as long as the next longest win streak at OTE right now. During this win streak, RWE is scoring just below 100 PPG and are winning by an average margin of 9.3 PPG. This weekend will be a good test for RWE, as they face two teams that have pushed them to the brink already this season 😤

On Saturday, RWE takes on the Cold Hearts, marking the third time these two teams will have met this season. In both of their previous meetings, the Cold Hearts have held a double-digit lead in the closing minutes and in both games RWE has staged monumental comebacks to win the games in dramatic fashion. In those games it has been Taylen Kinney who has played the hero role, averaging 25.5 PPG and hitting the go-ahead buckets in both contests 🤯

On Sunday, RWE will take on Fear of God Athletics, a series that is tied at 1-1 so far this season. RWE dominated their first meeting, posting a 21 point victory, thanks in large part to the exploits of Jasper Johnson and Taylen Kinney, who combined to score 44 points. It was a different story in their second meeting, as Fear of God Athletics downed RWE 82-73 in a well-balanced effort in which four players scored over 15 points 💪

The week kicks off with a battle between Fear of God Athletics and the Blue Checks, a rematch from earlier this week that saw the Blue Checks emerge with a three point win. Kaden Magwood and Yohance Connor combined to score 53 points, including ten triples between the two of them. Friday night is rounded out with Jelly Fam against the YNG Dreamerz, a matchup in which the Dreamerz played their closest game earlier this season. The Dreamerz pulled off a two point victory over Jelly Fam just before the new year thanks to the exploits of Isaac Ellis (17 points) and Abu Yarmah (15 points). The final game of the weekend will be played at 7 p.m. on Saturday between the City Reapers and Fear of God Athletics. The City Reapers are on fire right now, most recently beating FOGA 90-75 on the back of Jayden Wilkins best game of the season which saw him score 22 points on six triples made 👌
