The OTE Finals are here and is set up to be one of the greatest series in OTE history, as the leagueโ€™s top two teams, the YNG Dreamerz and City Reapers, are set to do battle. The Dreamerz and Reapers have sat atop the league for much of the season and each game played between the two teams has been a scrappy, dog-fight which is sure to cause plenty of fireworks in this legendary matchup between the two rivals ๐ŸŽ†

The YNG Dreamerz are looking for their first title in program history after finishing the regular season as OTEโ€™s number one seed. The Dreamerz are looking for vengeance after falling to the City Reapers in their only other OTE Finals appearance in 2023. The City Reapers, meanwhile, are looking to establish OTEโ€™s first ever dynasty as they are gunning for the three-peat 3๏ธโƒฃ

The Dreamerz are led by MVP Eli Ellis, who looks to cement himself as the OTE GOAT by adding one more trophy to his already stocked awards cabinet. Ellis won the MVP this year after leading the league in both scoring (32.1 PPG) and assists (6.7 APG). Ellis also holds virtually every scoring record at OTE: Most career points (1,413), Most points in a single season (581), most points in a game (55), most points in a playoff game (42) ๐Ÿ

Eli is flanked by super side kicks Kohl Rosario and Isaac Ellis, who have each played an instrumental role in pushing the Dreamerz to new heights. Rosario, who was the runner-up for OTEโ€™s inaugural Most Underrated Player award, has raised his scoring average to 22.0 PPG in the playoffs, which is the fourth highest of any player. Isaac has taken on more of a defensive burden this season, finishing up as DPOY runner-up and averaging 1.7 SPG in the playoffs. Isaac will be tasked with the unenviable job of slowing down City Reapers superstar Meleek Thomas ๐Ÿ’ช

The Reapers are led by McDonaldโ€™s All-American and OTE MVP runner-up Meleek Thomas who has been on an absolute mission in the playoffs. Thomas is averaging 27.0 PPG in the playoffs and has scored 20+ points in each game so far. Thomas is threatening Ellisโ€™ record for most points in a single season of 581 points with 563 points of his own this season. The Arkansas commit is intent on carrying on the City Reapers legacy and leading them to the first three-peat in OTE history ๐Ÿ’€

The Dreamerz have arguably the best offense in league history, however, if there is a team capable of slowing them down it is this City Reapers squad. The Reapers defense is led by back-to-back DPOY winner Amari Evans who has a history of slowing down Eli Ellis and will once again draw that matchup for this series. Evans isnโ€™t alone on the defensive end though. Micah Tucker and Kole Grandison have proven themselves as elite perimeter defenders and Cole Kirouac is leading all players in blocks (3.7 BPG) in the playoffs ๐Ÿ—œ๏ธ
